In the picture for prestigious industry award
Target has been shortlisted in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) West of England PRide Awards 2009 'best use of photography or design' category for its Westonbirt Arboretum Spring Collection 2009 campaign.
The campaign brought together high fashion with nature; the centrepiece of the campaign was a dress designed by an Oxford fashion student and made entirely out of the blooms and foliage found at the Arboretum.
Spectacular photography of a model wearing the dress formed a key part of the campaign, helping to secure national, regional and local media coverage. It was also used as part of the marketing campaign to create a stunning door drop postcard, e-newsletter and also featured on the Arboretum website.
Sarah Bryars, managing director of Target Public Relations, says: 'We're delighted to have been shortlisted for an award yet again this year. The PRide Awards are a chance for our industry to celebrate its finest achievements and are a tremendous accolade for any business. It's a testament to the talented team we have here at Target that our work has been recognised as amongst the best in the region.'
There were nearly 1,500 entries this year across 24 categories, bringing together the best of the region's PR teams and the winners will be announced at a presentation evening on Wednesday 4 November in Bristol.
